Married couple Tara and Lindsay invite Chuck to Timiskaming to introduce him to The Wild Basket, an initiative that brings traditional foraging techniques to future generations. Chuck discovers their food-processing unit on wheels, a trailer that facilitates the cleaning and processing of the food they harvest. Chuck and the two women along with a few other members of the community head to the forest to pick forest-fresh nuts, berries, plants and mushrooms to provide for their families and friends. Chuck gets his hands dirty and finds a good amount of lobster mushrooms which they later use to cook delicious mushroom cakes.
