Chuck travels to Louisiana in the United States to meet Jason Pitre, a member of the Houma Nation and oyster farmer. Houma Peoples still have a fairly traditional lifestyle while adapting to the new situation with climate change. Jason suggests a traditional southern recipe to cook the oysters. Crawfish is another food staple in the Bayous and Jason cooks them Louisiana style. Jason’s family comes together for a seafood feast and Chuck has the pleasure to chat with his mother.
