Tina Nottaway and her daughter Sigon welcome Chuck at their family’s sugar shack in Rapid Lake and show him the different products made with maple syrup. Coffee with maple water, taffy, fudge, bread in a bag have been cooked during Chuck’s visit. Collecting the sap is a very rewarding family activity that keeps them connected to nature and their traditions and the Nottaways definitely have the perfect spot to practice it.
