Chuck visits Resilience, a shelter located in his home city of Montreal. He meets Nakuset, the woman who made it all happen. Her passion and willpower help create a safe environment for all the members of the different communities living in the city. Chuck knows that a lot of the comfort these people are looking for comes from food, so he puts himself to work in the kitchen to prepare a great feast of country food. Maggie, a cook for Resilience and Chuck make a delicious moose meat and wild rice ragout and let some seafood raw to make the experience taste as close to home as possible. These foods fortify them culturally and personally in order to make them strong to be able to make a positive change in their lives.
