Chuck travels west to meet David Thusky, an Algonquin for whom ice fishing is the perfect way to connect with his family and his community. Chuck and David’s family take some skidoos and set up a camp at Two Islands Lake. First step for Chuck is drilling a few holes on the lake and then the awaited fishing starts. With some good catches, it’s now time to eat and Chuck and Keith go collect some wood to make the fire while grandma Grace cleans the fish carefully. They grill the fish and accompany the catch of the day with some potatoes and moose lard. The family sits around the fire while they enjoy the food on this cold winter day.
