- 3 thick slices of bacon
- 1 trout
- 1 cup of fresh green peas
- Cut the bacon into strips.
- Place the strips in a hot pan.
- Add the fresh green peas.
- Once cooked, put aside the bacon and peas in a bowl but retain the bacon grease in the pan.
- Cut the trout into steaks.
- Place the steaks in the bacon grease.
- Slowly cook the trout on both sides.
- Once cooked and crispy, add the green peas and bacon strips to the trout.
