Ingredients
- 1 diced onion
- 4 chopped garlic cloves
- 3 diced celery stocks
- 3 diced carrots
- Corn kernels removed from 2 corn cobs
- 1 ½ dried mushrooms sachet
- 2 cups of coarsely-chopped cabbage
- 1 cup of wild rice
- 2 cups of small potatoes sliced in half
- Chopped kale
- Sagamité Watso mix (possible substitutes: mix of dried black beans and red beans, dried corn, and dried sage)
- 4 cups of water
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Sweat the onion and garlic in butter and oil.
- Add the celery, carrots and corn.
- Add the cabbage.
- Add the potatoes.
- Add the wild rice and dried mushrooms.
- Add the Sagamité Watso mix .
- Add water.
- Add the kale.
- Cook for 2 hours.
