- ½ cup (125 ml) wild rice
- 2 cups (500 ml) milk
- 2 cups (500 ml) 35 % cream
- ¾ cup (180 ml) sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
- Maple syrup, to taste
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) butter
- ½ cup (125 ml) dried blueberries
- Cook wild rice according to package directions.
- In a pot, add cooked and strained wild rice, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, maple syrup and butter. Bring to a simmer and allow to cook for about 10 minutes.
- Garnish with dried blueberries and maple syrup, to taste.
